Here are our challengers and their changes!

Sarah- No night time snacking (and wearing a real bra everyday)
Christine- meditate daily
Anne- No added sugar!
Nick- No night time snacking
Mary- 25 squats, 25 lunges each day
Ritu- spending time with husband daily
Jennifer- no soda!
Daisy- stretch everyday!

I keep saying this but look at all the different ones! This is fantastic!

Ok so this is how this will go down. I am going to do posts like this one where I will talk about the challenge and share the pictures you all send me. Send me pictures of how you are making your change!

Ways to send me pictures…

  • Text me.
  • Facebook messenger me
  • email me at coachangel7@gmail.com

Let’s inspire each other!

Anne sent some pics already of the some things to help her stay away from sugar this week! These are awesome! And I love that she isn’t afraid of whole milk yogurt.

If you follow any of my other posts you know Greek yogurt and I are buds haha. Actually sisters, it seems like Greek yogurt would be a girl. πŸ™‚

At some point during the day, just comment below the One Challenge Post of the day and let us know how you are doing! We are all in this together for support and encouragement so if you are having some trouble sticking to your change don’t be afraid to say so! It’s never easy to make a big change but we ARE going to do exactly that this week while helping one another do something amazing.

Let’s do this! I can’t wait to hear (and see) how your Day 1 went!

Question:

How was your One Change Challenge Day 1?

PS- Just doing this post has already made progress toward MY change of sticking to my to-do list! πŸ™‚

  1. No photographic evidence … but I’ve spent all day with Hubby… because I’ve been unwell so sick day today and tomorrow!
And getting prepared for his 40th birthday on WednesdayπŸ‘«πŸ‘«πŸ‘«πŸ‘«πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—

    1. Haha! That’s ok! You definitely don’t have to send pictures, I just thought it would be fun and inspiring. Ugh, so sorry you are sick Ritu! BUT I am glad that you got to spend some time together. Oh my gosh! Yay for 40!!!

  2. Day 1- completed βœ….
    24 squats with bicep curls
    12 alternating lunges
    12 walking lunges

It seems simple, but, I sure got winded and by the last walking lunge…I was glad it was over !

I also woke by 7:00. That was a thought for a challenge as well so I added it for extra measures to prove how awesome I am going to be at following through with this for seven days, lol !!

Now off for a hike which will be my 45 minutes of exercise today.

Good luck all…we TOTALLY got this !!! πŸ˜€βœ…πŸ˜βœ…πŸ˜œβœ…πŸ˜βœ…πŸ˜‰βœ…πŸ™

    1. I also realize that I seem to be the O L D E S T on this thread !!! πŸ˜ͺ. Where is Heather ??? She is my age…we can relate to the old lady aches and pains 😞

      1. STOP! Lol! So? First of all, that should tell you something about your lifestyle you live. You can hang. And we are all the same age in the fit world! We have no age! I know, let’s all be 29 πŸ™‚

    2. Great job Mary!!! It actually didn’t seem simple at all to me! I knew you were doing these in addition to your workouts so….
You can do this! And at the end of the week you are going to be so excited that you said you were going to do something and then DID IT! I know that’s what I’m going to feel good about for mine anyway. That is my favorite thing about finishing something I start. The follow through!
      Way to go Mary!!!

  3. I am going to post tonight that I have checked everything off but just wanted to say how I needed to do this. What is that saying about eating the frog? Well I ate it this morning.

  4. I’m still sick, but a little better than yesterday. I’ll take it.

Breakfast: coffee and a cashew milk “smoothie” I guess. I just added collagen protein, glutamine and cinnamon. It was so good! I usually hate the subtle taste of collagen, but the cinnamon and creaminess did the trick.
Lunch: organic chicken spinach meatballs, zucchini, broccoli, peppers and onions all sautΓ©ed in coconut oil.
    Snack: tea. Then a kombucha.
Dinner: ground pork, spaghetti squash, onions, peppers, spinach, kale and marinara with a little cheese.
    Snack: salami, pepperoni and provolone.
I did eat two little cookies, but they were homemade with just a teeny bit of sugar. I made them for my son for snack. It’s a good way to get some coconut oil in him. I made them smaller and I had to check them. I swear, lol! Usually I can eat ten big ones. I’m calling two little ones a total success! And I’m totally not hungry today at all! No cravings!

And I didn’t get to my yogurt today. I keep it at work and I left early because I feel like crap. But whole dairy is the best! I’m a huge fan of as little processing as possible. That’s the way it’s supposed to be. And it’s tastes so much better. Way more satisfying. That one I got is pasture fed too.

Nick did great too, no snacky snacky!

    Great day one everybody!!

    1. Today was definitely a success!!! Especially with you still sick! Ugh, I hope it passes soon. Way to go. If you can do this any on us can. Oh and Ritu, she’s sick too. Geez! Boo πŸ‘Ž Feel better girls but great day 1 πŸ™Œ
      Go Nick!

      1. I’ve been using collagen for probably a year. My skin is definitely more supple. It’s supposedly great for joints and the gut but I can’t say I’ve seen changes in those departments because I didn’t really have problems to begin with. For me it’s primarily a convenient way to get the benefits of bone broth and it’s an easy protein powder because I don’t use whey anymore. Here’s a good review of it.

        Hope that helps!

  5. I managed to get in a 20 minute guided meditation this morning and got to work feeling relaxed and ready to tackle the day. I may try to get in a few minutes before bed.

Mary, I think I am older than you, so you are not the oldest but I am okay with being 29 again. I miss Heather too.

    1. Yay!!! Great job! 20 minutes. Gah! (As Anne says haha). Obviously this is something I need to try since 20 minutes of meditation to me right now seems like a lifetime lol!
      Way to go!!!
Yes, we are all 29 now. πŸ™‚

  6. Missed stretching this morning but getting ready to do my evening stretches. I didn’t realize how inflexible I am so this is going to be a great challenge for me!

    1. Just do your best. You will become flexible, lol ! I more recently was reading on how it is important to open/stretch your hips for back pain relief. It is so important to stretch. I have to be better at this as well. I’m always stiff.

  7. Lol ! I don’t mind being my age…I just don’t want the age related pains πŸ˜€.
I love to meditate for a moment out on my walk. Love it ! Makes me find connection to myself/nature. Amazing how it can redirect your mind.

  8. Done and done! I have to admit though I’ve been waking up at 4:30 am so stopping eating early so far has not been a problem. (Because I’m asleep! Lol) also wore a real bra today! Underwire and all!
