I can’t believe it’s Day 17!

Day 17 MHC: Max Hammer Strength

So today was Max Hammer Strength again. Since this was my second time doing Max Hammer Strength, I feel like I got a better workout than the first time just because I know what I am doing a little more.

The point of Max Hammer Strength is to pre-fatigue the muscle in the first set (1 minute) and then do 8 reps with your max weight for the second set.


Am I the only one who feels like Laura Croft after a hard core weights workout? Haha!



I know, I know. The resemblance is uncanny. Believe it or not yall, this isn’t me! 😉

Another great workout in the books.


Changing the Plan Again

Now that I am 17 days into this program and have a feel for how it is, I’ve decided to not have carbs everyday for 2 weeks like I originally planned. There isn’t a lot of cardio on this plan and it’s not like I am eating super low carb on a daily basis anyway. So instead of adding in daily carbs, I’m just going back to 6 lower carb days with one weekly carb up. This has been working really well for me so I’m just going to go with what I know.

  1. I feel the same way when I’m done! We are so awesome!! Lol!

    I have come to realize that I don’t love breakfast. I mean I love breakfast food, I just don’t like eating it early. I’m glad I discovered my cashew milk thingy because it’s perfect, just enough. And I usually down a tablespoon of MCT oil first thing, so I get some calories in, I just don’t like the bulk. I don’t really like to chew food until late morning, sometimes not until lunch. I used to feel bad about this with the whole “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” line, but now I have just accepted that not everyone has to eat the same, thats ok, and I can just call it intermittent fasting if someone gets all judgy about it, and then I sound fancy. lol!

      It’s funny that you say this about breakfast. I wonder if it’s getting older or what. I used to eat the huge breakfasts and just can’t do it anymore.
