This morning I decided to take a break from The Master’s Hammer and Chisel and do something else. I have been wanting to try T25 ever since doing Insanity Max 30 so that is what I chose!
I REALLY liked this short, sweaty cardio workout. I love weights but I feel so good when I get a really sweaty cardio session in. I needed something different and T25 was just what the doctor ordered this morning.
Today would have marked 30 days on The Master’s Hammer and Chisel and I have stayed the exact same size and weight for one month. I could chalk it up to being a plateau or that there is not a lot of cardio on the program, but I know it isn’t either of those things. During the first two programs that I did, I was very diligent about sticking to my meal plans 6 days out of the week and then doing a whole food carb up one day a week (maybe a beer here and there haha). Well, pretty much every single week this past month I have just eaten more calories than what is required to lose weight at this point. I know the closer I get to my goal, the more diligent I have to be.
So I have 30 more days on this program. I am not going to do what I have done countless times before and say “I’m starting again tomorrow so let me just eat what I want today.” I’m doing this today.
I do things ONE goal at a time. So my goal for the rest of this program is to focus on my night time eating and make sure that I do not veer from my meal plan at night. I am SO glad that the my challenge groups are beginning Sunday because I need the accountability too!
