Lean, Mean, and Squeaky Clean Challenge – March 7, 2017

Hi Peaches!

I was thinking that it might motivate us a lot more if we share some sort of before and after picture. It doesn’t have to be be a full body progress pic, maybe just your face or your bicep. But full body is good too! Whatever you want, just something physical to compare on June 21st. I can even do a post to show all of our progress! I think it will be neat to see everyone’s changes.

You certainly don’t have to do progress pics. I just find them very motivating. It’s cool to look back and see how far you’ve come!

Lean, Mean, and Squeaky Clean Challenge!

How was today? Tuesday is the test. We are always super motivated on Monday but then can fizzle out as soon as Tuesday! Is the fire still lit? If not, let’s get our heads in the game because as always, tomorrow is a brand new start!

Here is my food today and my workout was Iso Speed Hammer from The Master’s Hammer and Chisel.

  1. I feel dedicated still! Yay! I also must acknowledge my need for small treats to keep me in the game. I find a small snack of whatever I want on most days usually keeps me committed because then I don’t feel deprived. I don’t do so good with total perfection because then I just give up if I slip up. So don’t mind my not so clean silly snacks. They are super small and they keep me sane!

    B- 2 pieces of bacon and my cashew milk collagen shake
    S- fruit and green larabar
    L- ground beef, onion, peppers, zucchini, spinach and salsa
    S- kombucha
    D- chicken wings, zucchini potato pancakes and homemade sautéed French fries
    S- a 70 calorie pack of organic fruit snacks. I LOVE them!

    Exercise: a whole body circuit. Wow, I was huffing!

      I got those fruit and green larabars. Can’t wait to try them!
      You love your gummies! Jason is that way too. He likes gummy candy. I’m a bownie/donut kind of girl. Or chocolate peanut butter for candy. If I ate sugar that is.

      1. Those Lara ads, specifically the strawberry, kinda remind me of a fruit roll up. That’s why I love em!

  2. I’m still going strong! It was actually a huge win! I forgot my trainer was not coming this am and I was ready to go at 5:15 so I worked out ALONE! lol it’s very weird I wasn’t sure what to do because I had no plan so I just did supersets of all my favorite exercises. So it was actually kinda nice doing only the stuff I love! ( no TRX, no walking lunges and no push ups! Great workout!) anyway I was pretty happy with myself. I’m going to have write a split though because I’m taking it down to once a week and the rest I’ll have to do on my own:-(

    One coconut oil tortilla with grilled chicken, cabbage, tomatillo and pico. Soooo yummy! I made them with refined coconut oil and they are amazing!!!!! I’m so impressed👍🏼
    I don’t love progress pics. I find I always feel disappointed by them. I look better in the mirror or when my clothes feel better. I’ll try a non whole body progress shot though! I’m working abs like crazy right now to help my lower back so I’ll do that:-) oh and I’m going To cabo in less then 3 weeks so that’s motivating.

    1. Wow! Great job!!! I know it’s hard to workout alone when you are used to a trainer but you did it!!! Great day great food!!! You’re kickin butt!
      Abs are perfect! That will be a good one.
