Hey everyone!

I hope you all had a great day! We did. It was beautiful outside so we headed out to the park this afternoon! Anna looks thrilled haha.

Her breakfast is chicken sausage, spinach, and pico de gallo. Look amazing! You are rocking this challenge so far Anne!

Well my goal for this evening is to not eat anything else after I post this. I was so hungry yesterday and had already eaten more than usual, then I ate a whole other meal last night after I posted! How was today for all of you? Today was a win here, dinner was rather eclectic but what’s new with my food?

Workout was Chisel endurance from The Master’s Hammer and Chisel.

  1. Good day today! Feeling stronger, body and mind.

    B- chicken sausage
    S- cashew milk collagen shake
    L- clean green chicken soup
    S- almond butter packet
    D- grass fed beef burger and kale salad with a kombucha
    S- fruit and green larabar. I realized I like them because they remind me of fruit roll ups. Well, then I should eat them when I want fruit snacks! Duh! I know I’m intelligent but sometimes I wonder. 😂

    Exercise: 20 minute yoga for tight legs. Man did I need that!!

    Now I need to hydrate better and I’m all set!!

  2. Ok I’m getting so boring!

    I had planed to make a lettuce wrap burger and salad but my neck is just plain killing me today! Like can’t focus kinda thing. So I channeled my inner Angela and made a bowl concoction.!!! Lol I browned the meat and sautéed the mushrooms and literally but that over the salad greens. I even put pickles and mustard on it. I feel it was totally Angela! I was going to take a pic but by this time I was famished!
    I did not work out today. I just rolled out and now I’m currently sitting with a home made heating pad on my neck! Seriously I could not find the darn thing so I poured a bag of rice in a sock and microwaved it. (Side note must clean microwave! I’ve actually never used it for anything other then storing cookie sheets and roasting pans. Ugh) anyway it’s working beautifully! Until tomorrow ladies 💕

    1. Ugh, hope your neck is feeling MUCH better today. That’s terrible. Neck pain makes it so hard to concentrate!
      Another good day food wise though! Lol! That is an Angela concoction 😋 Except for the pickles 🙅🙅🙅

  3. I missed posting yesterday, I did okay but I felt extra hungry after my Zumba class and probably ate too much. Tonight was Body Pump.

    Food for today:
    B – coffee with heavy cream, mixed nuts
    L – spaghetti squash with ground turkey sauce and salad with evoo and balsamic
    S – 1/2 homemade “Quest” bar
    D – homemade coconut flax bread, cheese, organic salami, olives
    S- chocolate almond cup

    Tomorrow we are going out after work for a farewell party, so I will probably have a beer.

    1. Thanks Christine I’ll try that next week! I’ll write up the recipe. I tried like 4 and kinda mixed them together to what I liked. I’ll do it tonight. I’m actually just in the progress of ordering a tortilla press of of amazon:-)

  4. I’m finally joining the challenge! I missed Monday and Tuesday but yesterday I was determined to be on track.

    B-Coffee with almond milk, unsweetened coconut milk yogurt with protein powder and strawberries (I was so excited to try this because my kids are sleeping when I leave for work in the morning and I don’t want to wake them up making a smoothie in the blender. This is such an easier option and it is so good!)
    S-Hummus wrap
    L-Salad and tofu “ice cream” (just silken tofu and frozen berries blended together)
    D-Homemade chili
    S-Sprouted grain toast

    I didn’t work out like I had intended to. I worked a half day and when I called to make an appointment for my children at the kids area at the gym they didn’t have any. I figured I would just do a quick workout once they went to bed (I should know better than that lol). It was beautiful here as well so we also went to the park and ran around and played soccer. Once we got home I was tired and didn’t work out. I’m disappointed in myself for not doing something but today is a new day!

    1. Melanie yay!!! I’m so excited you’re doing this! That’s why I didn’t set a start date, so that anyone can jump in at anytime and do their best until June 21st. I’m so excited to see your food too! Ever since doing that cleanse I have been wanting to make some of my week vegan. I hear you in the loud blender! So how did you mix the coffee/berry/protein powder thing?

  5. Thank you for the motivation, I need it! I’ve had 2 kids since 2014 and keep saying I will get back in shape but I still haven’t….you are inspiring me. My youngest is 11 months old so I have put it off long enough. I am just getting back to being vegan as well. I had been eating vegan for about 4 years and then just fell off in July and have been struggling to get back to it since then. The only things I want to eat when I eat dairy are pizza, mozzarella sticks, and other things like that so it’s better for me to just avoid it. I think I just wrote that wrong, I had coffee and then I mixed the protein powder and strawberries into yogurt….thanks for the tip!

    1. I love that you are inspired! You inspire me as well. That’s why I do these challenges. That’s so funny that you say that because dairy is the number one thing that keeps me from being a vegan lol.
      Wow! So you you have two very little ones, you are definitely never board. It’s such a wonderful time but a challenging one nonetheless. I will say that you are so right to do this for yourself because I swear we have to stay in shape to keep up with them!
      Oh! Haha no I just read it wrong. I love that breakfast! 😊
