I hope you all had a great day! Mine was good I just woke up late and it threw my whole schedule off.

So since I am still running a little behind, I’ll make today’s post short and sweet and I will check in with all of you in the comments!

  1. Feeling a little better today. Phew! I love all different stuff in salads! I think crunchy apples would have to be my favorite addition though.

    B- Angela’s blueberry nut cereal
    S- Evo apple pecan hemp bar
    S- collagen shake
    L- vega bar
    D- a big salad with grilled veggies and grilled chicken. My husband had a meeting so I went out to dinner with my son and my mom to a pizza place. So proud of myself that not only did I resist all the bad choices, but it wasn’t even hard to do because I honestly didn’t want them. What a great step!
    S- apple with a little Nutella.

    Exercise: 30 minute yoga for sciatica. Should help the hammies!

  2. I too was feeling a bit better today. I was suppose to go for dinner and a movie for my cousins birthday but instead I just went for dinner. I need some rest. Plus she’s having another dinner downtown on Friday so I do t feel that bad! Lol

    Indian. I had chicken Saag and mixed veggies. It was really good but I’m getting sick of Indian. We’ve had it way too much lately:-)
    No workout today but I had a massage that was very much needed.
    Salad! I love salad!!! I’m a sucker for a $25 dollar salad! Lol I’m not talking healthy salad but you know candied pecans, strawberrys, salmon all the good stuff!
    I also LOVE roasted beets on a salad.

    1. $25!!! Haha! That thing better sing and dance! Mmmmmm. It does sound good though. I don’t think I have ever had beets…
      You guys do seem to be doing Indian for your outings lately.
      I have REALLY been wanted to go to this restaurant I love here called The Grit. I am going to go soon. Can’t wait!

  3. I love salads with lots of stuff in in them. It has been a busy work week so I’m glad I prepared some food on Sunday.

    B – coffee with cream, mixed nuts
    L – pesto chicken casserole and cauliflower rice
    S – cheese, veggies with hummus, granola bar (not so good)
    D – salmon, broccoli, brussel sprouts
    S- dark chocolate

    Exercise – Body Pump.

  4. I love salads but I’m such a boring eater lol my husband calls me “plain jane” because I don’t like to add a lot of stuff to my food. I like just the basic salad stuff and have never tried salad with any kind of fruit or nuts in it. Maybe I need to expand my horizons…..

    B: Chia pudding with fruit
    S: clementine and banana
    L: 1/2 Hummus veggie wrap
    S: clementine, banana, handful of cashews
    S:1/2 Hummus veggie wrap
    D: BBQ tofu sandwich and housemade chips (definitely a cheat! We went to a new restaurant and it was so good! I was going to eat half of it but I ended up eating it all but didn’t feel overly full.)

    Got on the scale this morning and I’m back where I was before the random 2 pound increase. 9 pounds to go!

    1. Melanie I am the same way!!! Like, REALLY REALLY boring lol. Glad there is someone else out there haha.
      Your cheat sounds yummy! I love tofu.
      Heck yes! Yay for 2 punds!!!

      1. lol we are just keeping it simple 😉 I love tofu too but can never cook it as well as they do in restaurants! And thank you!! My weight hasn’t budged in months so I’m definitely excited!

  5. I like WARM salads. So I either sautee a bunch of stuff to put on them at home or I get warm ones at restaurants. Not a huge cold salad fan. And I’m REALLY not a fan of egg or potato salad. Bleh.
    I had a very pine nutty day lol.
    overnight night oats with pine nuts
    apple, seaweed
    veggie bowl with hummus, strawberries with pine nuts
    veggie bowl with hummus, strawberries/blueberries/coconut and wait for it…….pine nuts.

    1. Ooh! Good point! I love warm salad too! The one I had out for dinner was steaming, grilled veggies and chicken, so good!!
