  1. I’m prepared too! Food is made and planned. Just a stop tomorrow for some bars and I’m ready! So I’m disappointed today. I finally feel healthy. Started working out and three minutes into a HIIT workout I came down from a jump squat and felt something very not right happen in my right hip. It’s something between my lower back, my glute and my pubic bone. Im pretty sure it’s just a strain. It doesn’t feel serious but I know if I don’t back off it will be. I’m so upset. I don’t want to be injured. So it’s forced me into the need to pick a new path. I’ve been jumping all in, I’m thin but out of shape. I obviously pushed too hard. I’ve really been enjoying the days I do yoga so I decided today that I am officially going to become a yogi. Its a good workout that will also help me to tune in to my body and understand it better. And hopefully help me heal. I know we can make our bodies whatever we want, but we are also individuals that have genetic tendencies. I so badly have wanted to be more muscular, but if I really look at myself it’s obvious that my body is tiny and it wants to be lean. Yoga is meant for me. So for now I’m giving up on my lifting with my greater health in mind. When I feel stronger I’ll reassess. And thank you Angela for that. Because you have transitioned from weightlifting to beach body so smoothly, you showed me it’s possible to change what you want from your body and be happy about it. Thank you!
Well, that was a ramble. Lol!

    B- 1/2 a muffin and bacon
    S- Rx bar
L- home fries: red potato, onion, peppers and kerrygold
    S- 1/2 an apple
D- General Tso chicken and broccoli over rice
    S- paleo apple muffin

My food today wasn’t perfect but for a weekend it was phenomenal! Yesterday was too much cheat. I won’t be doing that again next week. Thank you all if you got through reading to this point!

    1. Ugh, I hate it when this happens! A few months ago I popped some tendon in my foot and if I didn’t wear shoes 24/7 I was in excruciating pain. Did I go to the doctor? No lol. Should have. I just did these ridiculous looking workouts for WEEKS until it eventually got better. It took weeks and weeks. So frustrating. So definitely let it rest and just do what you can.
And yes! There are more than one road to home!
Hopefully you won’t be in pain for long. xoxoxox
Way to go this weekend! Lol! I read the whole thing!
      Have a fabulous Monday Anne!

      1. It still hurts today, but now it’s moved more to my lower back. I’ve had this before. I get a bulging disk in my lower back from time to time. I had it so bad after I gave birth. This isn’t nearly as bad so I know I just have to rest. It’s tight muscles that pull and bulge the disk. Yoga sounds like the perfect remedy! At least it feels more familiar now, pain I know is much less scary than pain I don’t know! Lol! I’ll just keep truckin’!

  2. Hi ladies, so finally at the end of all the birthdays. Well maybe. My cousins baby is due today so I’m sure I’ll be at the hospital befor the end of the month for a real birth day!
As far as exercise, none. I went to the gym and had an assessment and real tour. Just ran through a couple machines that I had not used in ages. No work out. So rest day.
    Vega bar and coffee
    Vega bar and coffee
Taco salad (no chips, no sour cream and no cheese)
Banana oat cake with cream cheese. (So I made a real cake and experimented with this and it was pretty great so I had it instead. I’m going to make something Declan will eat with oats!!!lol)
Busy week ahead for me and then off to cabo Saturday! Yay!!!!!!!!!

    1. Yay!!! Congratulations to you cous! I hope she doesn’t have the baby on the first. Not the end of the world obviously but the poor thing will hear “April fools!” on their birthday their whole life lol. I was in MAD labor with Ryan on Halloween. I was g;ad he was born on the first though.
Yay Cabo!!!! Woot woot! I think you pass by Georgia on the way down right? I’ll be waiting outside with the kids and our suits 🙂
