I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and your week started off with a bang! It’s the last week of the month, let’s finish strong!

Alright y’all, it’s the last week of the month. Let’s do this! 💪🙌👊
Whether you have had a good month or a bad month let’s make this week something amazing. It is tempting to want to wait until the 1st but don’t. Start now. After the first will be Easter, then after Easter will be May 1st, then after May 1st will be Father’s Day, then after Father’s Day will be the 4th of July and so on and so on and so on.
Do your very best with what you have where you are RIGHT NOW 💛

Here is Anne’s pic of the Kombucha that we both love. Since I quit sugar, I have to make sure to read the label because some of them do have it but there are quite a few that don’t! The Lavender Love and Strawberry Serenity are amazing! I haven’t tried the others yet.

Anne also found these chips that are just potatoes, salt, and coconut oil if you are looking for a cleaner cheat!

Today’s workout was ISO Chisel Strength from the Master’s Hammer and Chisel. Only 9 more days left of this program!

  1. So the hip and low back are tender today, but as the day went on it improved way more than I thought it would. I’m pleasantly surprised. Still gonna take it easy though, I’m excited to dedicate myself to yoga in another day or two. And I’m so hungry today! Aahhhh! I did a pretty good job of keeping it on track while being ravenous though.

    B- blueberry almond cashew milk “cereal”
    S- collagen shake
    S- 2 tbsp almond butter
    L- vega bar
    S- the pictured chips
    S- paleo apple muffin
    D- almond crusted park chops and organic corn with kerrygold and kombucha
    S- warm cinnamon apple

    I ate 8 times today! 😳small “meals” though. Besides too many chips it was actually a great day.

    Exercise- rest

    A better Monday than I anticipated!

    1. So glad it’s better! That happens to me all the time. I’m like uh oh….but then it’s fine! But yes, take it easy for sure.
      I do that sometimes. I will get so hungry and then eat more veggies and more fruit. It seems like a lot but the calories don’t add up to be a lot. It’s definitely better to graze on real food. Great day!

  2. Thanks for encouraging us to keep going Angela. I had too many indulgences this weekend and I need to get back on track.

    B – coffee with cream
    L – spinach and feta omelette, bacon, 1/2 avocado
    S – dark chocolate
    D – pesto chicken, roasted veggies and steamed broccoli
    S – Greek yogurt with grain-free granola and blueberries

    Exercise – Body Pump followed by 40 minutes of Zumba

      Great day! What kind of chocolate do you get? When I was in Florida two years ago I got a 100% dark chocolate bar. It had no sugar! It was at a Fresh Market. You probably wouldn’t enjoy it as much. It was basically like eating a cup of coffee lol!

  3. Hello 💁. I am totally struggling to get back to where I was before vacation ! Let’s just say that if I stay home, I am fine. Get me out where there are temptations and…forget it !! A briefing of our Sunday fun day road trip ~ began our outing late afternoon after waffles (gf, whole grain) fruit yogurt breakfast. Sister and brother in law (partners in crime) joined and we heading to a flea market. At that flea market was a Girl Scout selling cookies. Yup, a total of four boxes were purchased between the four of us. I know I probably ate a total of ten assorted cookies throughout the day. We then decided it would be a bar hopping type of day. So, still being early we figured a mimosa would be good. We stopped and had a mimosa. Became hungry as it was now lunch and ordered appetizers. Small portions, one each, so that worked but jalapeños, nachos and coconut shrimp aren’t really what I should be eating. Onward to next town, next bar. My signature cocktail, tito’s & cranberry. An invite to my brothers home bar. He’s roasting hot dogs. I’m safe because I don’t typically eat them BUT, who knows with the craziness I’ve got going on. We decided to bring wings. Stopped by our local bar to order those and of course a drink while waiting. Wine this time. Get to brothers, had two wings. No drink. Headed to another near town bar but stopped at my sisters. There, a corona. I never drink beer !? She just made a choc cake so served us a small slice. Finally, days end. It’s 7:30, we head home. Oh…darn, no dinner planned. So, out from the freezer comes chicken breast strips (clean version), and chickpea fries(clean). Bake those up. Yuck, don’t like the texture, don’t finish the meal. Bloated…of course I would be and mentally feeling like a failure ! So, you see, I am still all about the vacation mode. It is difficult coming out of it. It was a fun day. It was a rainy day. We probably would have taken a hike if it hadn’t been raining. Still feeling yuck with bloat and mentally I feel sooooo fat ! Oh, here is the WORSE part…I actually looked in my car yesterday for remaining cookies ! Addiction !!! Thankfully, there was none. when I told my husband(in shame) that I did this, he said, I threw out the bag the cookies were in and I think there was another sleeve of peanut butter cookies in the box…..you know, I actually looked in this bag that was in the garage garbage, WOW, Desperation !!! I don’t know if I would have eaten one if there was any left. I think I had to do it because it was such an unsettling feeling. What * the * heck * is * going * on * with * me ?????? I am totally staying clear of anything I should not be eating because right now think I need to go cold turkey and get pass this obsessive, compulsive and disgusting behavior. Hi…my name is Mary and I have a eating frenzy going on, lol !

    Monday food ~

    B. Seed bowl w/unsw coconut milk, frozen blueberries, flax, hemp, chia, cinnamon, scoop Greek
    Yogurt, bit vega
    S. Single serving (bite size) pistachio/cranberry bar
    L. Vega w/frozen spinach, frozen strawberries, cinnamon, 1/4 avocado
    S. Orange, a few raw unsalted cashews, almonds
    D. Sea scallops w/mustard, panko, seasoning. Roasted acorn squash w/butter. Steamed broccoli

    Exercise ~

    24 each. Hammer curls, overhead presses, flys, triceps pushbacks, chest press,overhead presses,
    bridges, clams, squats, lunges, laying bird dogs, supermans, deadlifts

    1. Mary I can’t help but laugh when I read this haha! I know you are feeling guilty but it’s so funny lol!!! I love that you went looking for the cookies afterward. I am telling you the sugar is so addicting!!! That’s why I gave it up. I am WAY worse that you. My day would have looked more like this…. FINISHED box of girl scout cookies then hit up Publix for some Ben and Jerry’s. Beer and wine doesn’t bother me like that but I do stick to non sugar stuff. And I don’t get drunk! That’s important. If I drink to much forget about it. Junk here I come.
      I tell you what though, you are having so much fun! How fun was this day? I really think your thing is that you have to just know ahead of time what you are going to eat and what you are not going to eat and expect the unexpected.
