Hey Ladies!

I hope you all are enjoying your weekend AND the first day of April!

Man, I tell you what, this past week was not high on the motivation stick for me and I know I could have done better as far as this challenge goes. But you know what, it’s behind me and I am moving forward toward my goal.

Can we talk about Mary’s pizza a minute. She posted this on Facebook the other day and I told her I had to share it on here. What’s all on it again Mary? It looks amazing!


Our day was great here in Georgia! It was beautiful weather so we headed to the park. Perfect weather. If everyday in Spring/summer was like this, I would kinda like it. But I know the extreme heat and humidity is on the horizon. Boo. Is it Christmas yet?

Ryan did so good on the rock wall!

Or course I had to bring my drink. 🙂

  1. So I made amazing grain free chicken dumpling soup! First experience with cassava flour and I officially love it! Great texture and yummy. My husband declared it the best soup I’ve ever made. And I make a lot of soup. Besides that I’ve got a gloriously boring weekend going on. It’s just what I needed! Ran to the store for cleats because my son starts baseball Tuesday and that’s it. I’m puttering around the house and just chillin. I’m gonna work on a painting tomorrow. Maybe do a workout. As for food, I took today off. I’m eating crap and enjoying it. This was a tough week for me. But I weighed in this morning at exactly the same as last week so I’m glad I didn’t gain and I’ll pick back up tomorrow or most likely Monday. Just needed the mental break. Happy Saturday ladies!

      Lol! “I’m eating crap and enjoying it.” Hahaha! This past week was definitely less than stellar but I am back in the game. Cheers to a new week! High five emolji! Lol!

  2. Hola from Mexico Ladies! It has been quite the adventure getting here! Grayson had a stomach bug, then me and then their seemed to be peace and I thought Ron and Declan were safe. But low and behold Declan got sick at the airport. Well we are here now!
    I am so happy to report that through my recovery from the bug I did not go crazy on bad carbs and fat! Yay! Usually when I sick like that I eat my way out of it once the sickness goes away. I resisted! I hydrated first with 12 hours of water, pedialight freezees and bio steal elecrolights, oh and a bit of power aid that did not stay down. Then when I could I had plain oatmeal. What a difference not forcing crackers and toast and whatever else. My old way of thinking would have been jumping for joy that I lost almost 6 lbs on the scale. Instead I was weighting myself to make sure it was going back up as I hydrated. And it did 4.5 lbs by yesterday. I also found myself mad about the set back in the gym. I had two more good work outs planned before I left. Nothing I can do about that. I brought my things and I will not be derailed. I have to thank you all because for the first time in my adult life I don’t feel like I’m on a diet. I just feel that this is the way I eat, the amount I eat to feel good and their is no cheating or being good because this is just the way I eat. And I feel great and not deprived. I’ve said before, maybe not on this blog, but vacation has to be better or at least equal to the quality of life I have at home. Well eating right and working out makes me feel so good that I’m not coming home from vacation feeling badly. So I will not be taking time “off” from life while on holiday because life is not so bad! I will continue the eat to feel good and workout. I have my stuff and know where the gym is! So all that being said this is my personal test that the changes I’ve made in the past few months are real, not just talk like they have been in the past! I’m really excited and super pumped to swim in 6 different pools with my boys today and the ocean and for my hard earned abs not be covered by beer bloat and taco chips! Lol. Energy to keep up with my boys is the biggest motivator. I don’t know about you guys but when I eat too much or the wrong foods I get sluggish. Not what two little boys want out of their vacation. So I’m doing this as much for them as for me. Enjoy your week ladies! 💕 I hope everyone keeps posting and supporting one another. We have a good thing going here! Thanks again Angela💕❤️💕❤️💕

    1. Oh man, so sorry you guys got sick, hopefully everyone feels better soon and you can enjoy your vacation. You sound like you are in a great place mentally Sarah and I think that is huge. You are so right about not being on a “diet” and eating healthy and working out to have a better quality of life. Thanks for this post, so inspirational!

    3. I loved reading your text this morning Sarah and I love reading this!!! I have known you now for 4 years and this is the first time that I have heard this excitement in your “voice” lol! You have finally gotten it all figured out and found your groove! This is amazing!!! And I love that we in some way played a part. You have always been such an amazing and beautiful person and now it is oozing out of your pours lol! Your excitement is contageous. I am ready to rock this week! So thank you for that!
      I hope the rest if your trip is phenomenal and I demand pictures! Lol!
      Oh and I TOTALLY agree. When I am out of town with the kids or even in town with the kids indulging is not even fun. It makes me soooooo tired and then I end up frustrated and no one’s even doing anything that they don’t usually do haha! So no matter what, I stay away from sugar and that has been good.
      I love this group too! Thank you to you and all these ladies who show up everyday. Love you!

  3. Yesterday wasn’t so great. Overdid it at my son’s birthday party and then continued that after getting home. Went to brunch this morning and trying to get back on track now!

    D- Veggies bowl with 2tbs hummus, 1c cherries with 1/4c peanuts
