Happy Monday Challenge Queens!

I hope you all had a fabulous day! We had some crazy storms here. I am actually one to love a rainy day but tornado warnings are a horse of a different color. 😦

How was today? I hope you all started this week out with a blast! I am back in the saddle. Well, I actually never left the saddle. I have to always remember that it’s all about the LIFESTYLE. Rather than thinking we are “good” one day and “bad’ the next, we need to think of each healthy day as a “deposit” into our fitness “account”. The more we deposit, the healthier we are! I have been challenging myself since I had Anna, so six and a half months. Last week I wasn’t motivated and even missed some workouts but when I weighed and measured this morning I was still down because I have been “depositing” into my account” for months! One week was not going to ruin everything.

So this week think of each day as a deposit toward you amazing results on the 21st!

We’re rich! Fit rich haha.

I love you ladies and love your passion for the fit life! Surrounding yourself with people of a like mind makes all the difference doesn’t it?

Oh I have been meaning to show you guys Sarah’s “before pic”. Before what? Her “after” pic will just be the front of a fitness mag haha! You look amazing Sarah!


And look what she found in Mexico! Full size gluten free bread and local kombucha! Awesome!

  1. So I’m back 80% today. I had a bad few days eating. Just fell off and didn’t care. Boo. But I am going to learn from it and move forward. No beating myself up. I’m trying to think of it as keeping my metabolism guessing, lol! Hey, at least I’m still funny. I had a little candy today, but that’s it. Much better than all. the. crap. And there are still GF cake pops in my house (I know, I’m an ass) but I didn’t eat any today!! Tomorrow will be even better. My motivation has finally subsided and I’ve called in dedication to take its place. I can feel it starting to work.

    B- collagen bar. I was so excited for these because they are hazelnut chocolate. Ick. They are nasty. But edible so I’m eating them anyway because I paid for them and they’re healthy.
    L- salad of lettuce, cucumbers and bacon with homemade Italian dressing, it was so good! And a paleo morning glory muffin
    S- a small handful of raw nuts
    S- skittles. Moron. Lol
    D- chicken carnitas in homemade cassava tortillas. I’m proud of this one. So yummy and pretty!
    S- kombucha and a warm cinnamon apple

    Exercise- upper body and ten squats with zero hip pain!!

    I must remember, eating well is a gift, not deprivation. Happy Monday!!

    1. Haha! Yes! You are definitely keeping your metabolism guessing. I think this too. It’s actually true! But only for one or twi days, then the calories hit and the fun is over lol. You look great though and I think that makes it difficult too. I cannot tell you the amount of motivation I had at 192 lbs back in September.
      Sarah sent me a text today saying she hated those collagen bars too!
      Lol! You are’t a moron!
      Oh I love that! It is a gift!

      1. You know, I just want to award Sarah with a big fat “I told you so” trophy because she was so right. Of bars, vega just blows all the others out of the water. Except maybe blueberry Rx bars because I love them too!

  2. Side note. I realize I’m on vacation but I’m up at 4:30am and I chill out and read this for a bit once the kids go to bed. I actually forgot a book or magazine in all the chaos departing. So you all are my adult entertainment and escape! Lol
    So today was derailed. Declan started getting sick again last night at 1 am and continued until 10 am and then he slept and relaxed all day. Or as he calls it his “alone time” lol so cute. He’s so dosil and extra sweet when he’s under the weather!
    Anyway. I had an hour and a half long medicine and bleach run with Grayson! All over freaking cabo! Oh and popsicles. So that was Cardio. Then I when shopping while everyone napped to get my beloved BCAA’s, glutamine and other goodies. (Also, forgot in the haze) soooooo riduloulys expensive in cabo! Won’t forget that again. Then I went to Walmart, and bought a lacrosse ball to attempt to loosen my neck, back and hips. While doing that I decided to buy some 10’s and 15’s and ankle weights. So now I’m out door in condo workouts! So much easier:-) I’m adapting.
    Food same
    Vega and coffee x 3 today
    And carne Asada y pollo lettuce wrapped tacos with boat load of shredded carrots. So yummy! I’ll send angela a pick soon….. Anna will laugh!

    1. Oh my gosh, I’m an idiot. When you said that you had an hour and a had medicine and cleach run with grayson I pictures you guys running bleachers with medicine balls lol! I spend WAY to much time in fitness forums! Poory guy!!!!
      You are definitely doing well down ther. I’m posting your fitness model pics tonight.

  3. Love the pics, Anne and Sarah! And also, holy crap Sarah lol. Yesterday I finally got somewhat back on track. I love the analogy of having fitness credit in the bank! I haven’t been doing great but still maintained my weight loss so hopefully that means I’m doing something right lol

    D: 1/2 veggie burger
    S: crackers
