Hey everybody!

Man! I was not in the mood today….for anything haha. Don’t you hate days like that where everything pisses you off? I did not want to work out but I did and I have you to thank. I love our group! Thank you ladies for being so awesome and motivating! xoxox

I’m mostly talking to myself about it here in this video and thank you for bearing with me while I am getting used to doing these. At least I figured out how to actually post this one haha!

Do hard things! Hard things make the easy things even easier.

It’s Wednesday? How are we doing? More motivation? Less motivation? If less, how can we make it more?!

Here is today’s food and and my workout was MCH: Chisel Endurance. Almost done with this program and then onto 21 Day Fix!

  2. Wow Angela. This quote will never leave me: “If you stay in comfort your whole life, you will only dream. You’ll never do.” I LOVE that! I’m with you lately, struggling, but today I’m back! I asked myself last night “Anne, who do you want to be?” Because the fit healthy person I want to be doesn’t eat candy, so put it down! And today I’m doing it!
    Great music always pumps me up! And daydreaming about how nice it’s gonna feel to wear cute shorts this summer with my toned legs.

    B- cherry almond “cereal”. I like the blueberry better. I think I’ll save the cherries for smoothies.
    S- paleo muffin
    L- homemade Italian dressing salad with cukes and bacon. A vega bar
    S- a handful of nuts and two little chocolates
    D- Asian chicken over coleslaw salad with almonds and sesame seeds
    S- kombucha and popcorner chips

    Exercise- 20 minute ab circuit. Ouch. Hurt so good!

    1. Ah! I’m so glad you guys got something from it. I am NO speaker and I always forget to say something that I meant to say. In this video I meant to add that the hard days make the normal ones seem like vacation. But I forgot lol.
      You are so good at what’s the word? Reassessing? You are real with yourself and that is so important! So many people rationalize and rationalize and never and never get anywhere. Applause!!!
      Oh my gosh, I so agree on the music. I’m such an idiot on the treadmill bouncing along lol.

  3. Oh, forgot to add this. Yesterday I had I’ve of those not in the mood for anything days. I was trying to put the lid on my instant pot for no joke five minutes and it wouldn’t work. I got so mad. My son asked me if I was ok and I snapped back “No. Not at all!” So Nick walks over and just does it. I was like what!? Turns out I was trying to turn the lid the wrong way to lock it. No joke, I almost threw it out just because it made me so mad. At least today it’s funny!πŸ˜‚

  4. Angela you and Anna are both so beautiful and adorable, I could watch you all day. Great message in your video. I read a book titled Younger Next Year and it talks about exercise being non-negotiable, especially when you get older. We are all aging but we don’t have to “decay”. When I don’t feel like working out I tell myself that I have to do it even if I don’t feel like it, it has become part of my life like brushing my teeth.

    I took a rest day yesterday so I had the energy and motivation to do Body Pump this evening.

    B – coffee, 1/2 Quest bar
    L – chicken alfredo and green beans
    S – kale salad with balsamic vinaigrette, honeydew melon
    D – beef stew with vegetables (no potatoes)
    S – cheese, nuts, dark chocolate

      Thank you for this book recommendation. I am 34 but I tell you I know how important it is to try my best to age well. I want it to go the best it posssibly can. I am so blessed to have you, Heather, and Mary to show how it’s done! You ladies are amazing! Thank you so much for sharing your lifestyle.
      Great day! Oh a Quest bar! I have yet to try one but I’ve heard great things! They are big in the paleo world.

  5. Words of wisdom ! Thank you. I always tell myself~change will not happen if change is not made and just try your best to attain your goals. There are days I totally have to push myself. I am getting better as I am trying to follow schedule. I find putting on exercise “gear” makes a difference. Then, I can be sporadic and begin whenever I decide to. Putting sneakers on makes me get a little pep in my step. So much more productive. It’s like when you put your pjs on, your mind gravitates to relaxation and sleep πŸ˜€. I have also moved my dumbbells to my great room. Right in front of the large windows. I have the view of my front yard. I can open the windows when I need the air. And, I walk by a million times a day which reminds me to do it ! I may need to relocate at some point because I am a visual type of person and if there is something distracting like high grass or gardens that need weeding, it will push me off into an uneasy state of mind rather than concentrating on what I am doing. In the past this would totally annoy me with having something foreign and out of place in my living room, but, guess I have changed, haha. Not that my husband can do this, lol ! You gotta do what you gotta do ! I know summer heat will have an impact. I hate being overheated. Guess I will need to figure something out about that. Outside in the a.m., in the exercise room with a/c, a fan perhaps. I will figure that then but my mind is already focusing on that issue. Sigh, always the mind playing games 😝. Ok, onward to today. It’s time for me to go get on my exercise clothes because I will be working out by 9:30. Good day ladies. Remember…you are worth the time and effort you put into your healthy life 😁.

    1. Mary you are so good at pushing yourself to do what you don’t want to do and that is such a great idea to put on workout clothes first thing in the morning! I seriusly feel so much worse if I ditch out on a workout when I have already put on the clothes lol. Brilliant!

  6. Love the video, thanks for the inspiration this morning! Anna is so cute!! I have my gym bag packed and ready to go at lunch but we have the tornado warnings here too….ugh. Maybe I will just have to go to the gym after the storm. Anyway, yesterday I didn’t eat enough during the day so I was starving after work. Then, I almost fell completely off and ordered pizza but I DIDN’T! And this morning, I was down another pound! I’m not worried so much about the number but I know I need to get down another 7 pounds or so in order to be able to see any kind of muscle definition. Yesterday, I didn’t pack my gym bag so on lunch I just walked through Target….that totally counts for cardio, right? Lol

    B: banana, coffee, pro bar
    L: leftover soup
    S: banana, pro bar
    After work: hummus wrap, bagel (ugh)

    Then I was so tired I fell asleep at 8:15. I definitely needed the sleep. Ready for today!

      1. Oh! My friend sent me a pic of her and her kids in the bathroom because the tornado was coming! It never happened though thank God. It got pretty crazy in certain area but we just got a bunch of wind and rain with a little hail.

      2. We had crazy rain and wind tonight up in New York! I think I finally got what you guys had. It rolled in from the south. The sky was green!
