Lean, Mean, and Squeaky Clean Challenge – April 6th, 2017

Hello hello!

You ladies are back and on fire!!! You were never really gone, but in yesterday’s comments you ladies were kicking serious challenge butt. And on a Wednesday at that! Wednesday is usually the fall of the wagon day. Great work ladies!!!

Lean, Mean, and Squeaky Clean Challenge!

Kathleen is in this challenge but she doesn’t comment often. She is kicking serious butt as well though (down 3 pounds this week) and here is a bunch of her food!

The Anne made this! It’s asian coleslaw with clean faux Applebee’s dressing. Wow!

My food and workout!

I only have four more workouts in The Master’s Hammer and Chisel. Today was Max Hammer Strength. You do one minute of reps with no wight, then 8 reps at your max weight. Whoa. Burn! I did not worout in my basement today but I still made the pictures black and white so that you can’t see all the crap that’s under my sofa! Ugh! Messy, messy, messy. My whole damn house.

Stay fired up my sweet ladies! Tomorrow’s Friday, we will share our wins. šŸ™‚

What did you eat today?

What did you do for exercise?

*If you are just tuning in, we are doing a summer ready challenge that runs until the first day of summer June 21st, 2017. You are welcome to join now or at anytime until then! The sooner you start the more time you have to be your best self by summer. 1. Yay Thursday! Today was a success and I’m feeling good about it! Tomorrow is going to be super busy at work for me so I got my weekly shopping done tonight. I love buying food! And I started MCT oil again tonight. I hate it but it makes me feel better, and it “moves things” quite well too, lol! I’ve always had an issue with that, and after a weekend of crappy eating the effect is welcome. I am thinking I’m going to quit sugar soon. I don’t want to because it’s yummy, but it’s a drug and I can now see that it is what keeps derailing me. I love a plan, so I’m working on that, and then I will implement. I’m starting to really embrace the simplicity of the way you eat Angela! The “cereal” is so good! Brainstorming……

    B- blueberry almond “cereal”
S- Rx bar and collagen shake
    L- vega bar
D- chicken burger and baked fries, kombucha
S- one GF cookie (total win because I was gonna buy a pint of ice cream and I didn’t!) and MCT oil shot (ick). I should also mention that I supplement with fermented cod liver oil which is like 30 calories and I have a tiny pearl probiotic that gets stuck in my throat, so I get it down in a small spoon of Nutella every night. Technically food. But whatever.

    1. Yay Anne!!! Great day and I love that you went ahead and did your shopping since today will be so busy!
Sarah loves the MCT oil too. I’ve never tried it. She just chugs it lol. I’ve heard SO many good things. I need to try it.
Oh! You know I always love hearing that I was any any way an inspiration lol. So glad you love the nutty cereal! I think that everyone would really benefit from quitting sugar but I also know that quitting completely is not for everyone. Even if we just DRASTICALLY reduce we are doing ourselves a world of good.
      Cookie win!!!
Oh you shoot the MCT oil too! Lol! Wow! I respond to your comment as I read it if you can’t tell.
I drink a big glass of almond milk every night if we are confessing extras lol. Sometimes a bowl of veggies with mustard if I’m starving.
      Have a great Friday! xoxox

  2. And I wasn’t done but I hit reply by accident, lol! I thought it deleted everything I wrote for a second but then it appeared posted. šŸ˜‚

Exercise- shoulders, and some painless squats! Yay! I’m excited to keep cleaning up my food. The break with the bars has been nice for a change, but I’m starting to miss real actual food. šŸ˜˜ to you all!

  3. I had a work meeting over lunch today so I had to take what was available. I guess it wasn’t too bad.

    B – coffee, nuts
L – 1/2 chicken and veggie wrap, kale salad
    S – yogurt with grain-free granola, clementine
D – homemade burger with cheese, tomato, pickle and broccoli
    S – dark chocolate

    Exercise – Zumba

  4. Going off of memory here as I threw out the meal plan for yesterday. Eating all day and drinking water. Geeeeeeezzzzzzeeee !

Vega, unsw almond milk, frozen spinach
Vega, 1 oz cream cheese, raspberries, unsw almond milk
Chicken breast chunked with brown rice, spinach, a bit honey mustard for a little flavor
    2 hard boiled eggs, Apple
Grass fed organic burgers, mixed veggies, pickle
    Water, seltzer, green tea

Exercise~upper body with some lower included. Darn those jumping any things and the push-ups ….ugh ! I cannot do all. I keep moving with anything to keep heart rate up. I also added to the workout by doing typical lunges, squats, curls, flys, overhead presses. I don’t want to give up on them for they are firming pretty nicely.

    1. Oo! I bet cream cheese in a smoothie is amazing!
Great work Mary! Yes, that’s how it’s done. Just keep moving. I’m with you on the jumping things. Ugh! I’m just now to the point where I don’t wet my pants every time lol.
