Lean, Mean, and Squeaky Clean Challenge – April 10th, 2017

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Last week was so good! You all were SO amazing last week, let’s do it again!!!

I talked to Kathleen on the phone yesterday…… yeah, she lost 8 POUNDS last week. This quote from her keeps ringing in my mind today….

“I feel so amazing! And it goes past eating healthy and working out. Now that I feel good I feel like I can do anything! I’m adulting the crap out of my day!”

Hahaha! I love that so much! Isn’t that true though? My diet and workouts literally enable me to take on the day. I am so thankful to God for my healthy lifestyle and hearing things like this bring me such joy.

Lean, Mean, and Squeaky Clean Challenge!

Here is Christine’s meal prep from yesterday. Wow! This looks great! Anyone else do a meal prep?

Kathleen’s beautiful start to the week….

Scrambled eggs, Greek yogurt with blueberries and chia seeds

And look at these new mats Jason got for me! Now I don’t have to workout on the dingy basement floor. I love when he does things like this without me even asking. It means so much!

Today’s food! Workouts was MHC: Hammer Plyometrics. My lungs hurt at the end haha.

How much better do you feel when your diet and exercise is on point?

What did you eat today?

What did you do for exercise?

Night night!

  1. Better today! But I have no intention of losing weight this week. I will be happy with maintaining. I know I’m going to eat Easter candy and I don’t want to feel bad about it because celebrating is a good thing. I know I’m a responsible adult and I won’t be a total jerk about it. I’m going to make the best choices I can but if a treat happens I’m ok. Next week it’s on though!

    B- blueberry almond “cereal”
    S- Rx bar
L- organic turkey veggie spaghetti squash bowl. So good!!
S- a Cadbury egg and some cashews
D- turkey cutlet and sweet potato
    S- popcorner chips and kombucha

Today was actually better than I thought!

Exercise- I’m so sore! Rest today. Consistently exercising is so hard for me. I’m so busy, and I choose my son in my spare time over myself. I’m working on this. I need to find a way exercise more and not take time from him. I’m brainstorming.

    Happy Monday!

    1. Good plan. I have two Easter gatherings this weekend. I’ll just bring what I can eat. I can’t veer too much from the plan with an infant because if I do I just get pissed off because I’m too tired to keep up lol.
Good day! 3 times a week of intense exercise paired with your diet is perfect!

  2. I fell off big time this weekend….having 3 days off every week is not proving to be helpful for me. I need to get better about eating healthy and working out when I’m off. Back to it this week! Hope everybody is having a good week!

    1. Hey Melanie! So glad you are back!
When I became a stay at home mom this happened to me.
One thing that helps me when I’m feeling out of control is planning what I will eat the next day. Or even just having the food ready in advance. I don’t have to do it forever, just until I get my footing again.
Hope you are having a good week too! xoxo
