Lean, Mean, and Squeaky Challenge – April 17, 2017

Happy Monday Squeaky Clean Challengers!

How was your Easter? Ready to blast back into our challenge?

Lean, Mean, and Squeaky Clean Challenge!

My Easter was wonderful and I stuck to my container system. I’m glad I did because I am feeling great today! I hate that puffy icky feeling.

If you read Anne’s amazing news that her husband does NOT have celiac then you read that they went out to eat to celebrate. The restaurant was called Dark Horse. They got local grass fed burgers on gluten free rolls and chocolate mouse! Yum!

Here’s my food! I don’t have the portion sizes on the meal plan anymore because I am using the Portion Fix containers. Today’s workout was 21 Day Fix Extreme: Cardio! Wowee, back to wetting my pants 😦

How was your Easter weekend?

What did you eat today?

What did you do for exercise?

Glad to be back today and hope you all are well!

  1. Woohoo!!!! That burger was really amazing! I can’t wait to go back because they have some yummy looking lighter options and an upside down apple pie which is also gluten free! I feel like the lord of the rings saying “my precious!” Lol!😂
So I’m having a hard time with food today. Super busy this week and I hated what j made today, which never happens. Should have brought a bar as backup. Oops. And I still want all the candy. I’ll be better by Wednesday, until then, Easter candy will happen, lol!

    B- Angela cereal
S- smoothie. Well half. So gross. I tried adding almond butter like everybody else. I just can’t. I like my smoothies watery.
L- it was supposed to be a new mix of veggies but blech. I do not like cauliflower or fennel or hummus. I knew this but I still tried to push my limits a little too far, lol. Ended up eating a few chunks of sweet potato, natural pork breakfast sausage and applesauce.
    S- chocolate truffles because famished.
D- pork chop and baked French fries
    S- candy

Exercise- random stuff I wanted to do. I enjoy these workouts. Mini trampoline, kettle bell punches, kettle bell swings, curls, shoulder presses, deadlift to raise, curtesy lunges, pull-ups. Morning still going strong!

I lost another pound! I was surprised. I really feel so much better in my skin. Thank you all!!

  2. Eater dinner with hubbies family at our Lake House.mkinda inconvenient as items of preparation are limited. But, all went well. Kept it very simple. A small plate of cheddar cheese and whole grain crackers were the only appetizer. I prepared baked ham, steamed carrots, steamed purple cauliflower and rolls. Brother in law made his mashed potatoes. Mother in law made homemade perogies, carmalized onions and keilbasa chunks (polish family after all 😀). Aunt made mini carrot cupcakes, banana cream pie, blueberry pie, local creamery made ginger ice cream.
I nibbled on a bit of everything. Not too much. And, only one drink. I did have a few chocolate candies. Did feel bloated. Brought home leftovers. Made split pea and ham soup this morning. Hubby opted to take desserts, wth !? Could have done without those because every time I went into fridge, I wanted blueberry pie and banana cream pie. So…I did ! I had to get it over with.

    B. Vega vanilla w/frozen blueberries, cinnamon, water
    S. The flipping pie ! 😡
    L. Veggie soup, whole grain bread. Lunch date with my daughter at Panera
    S. Beet chips
    D. Ham, carrots, cauliflower, mini chunks keilbasa, mashed potatoes

No exercise other than grocery shopping and wandering around our property with the dog and hubby.
