Good evening Peaches!

Sorry for the absence! Do any of you ever go through times where you have to just be quiet for a while? Well, I was going through a time like that last week. Thank you for bearing with me and I hope you all have been well! How was your Mother’s Day? Here are our pictures from church and look at these adorable pictures of Sarah and her boys Declan and Grayson!

I actually stayed on track with my eating all weekend and had my one cheat meal of eggplant parmesan on Friday (which was delicious!) Since my challenge group began, I’ve lost 7 pounds! Then I woke up today bright eyed and bushy tailed at 1:45 am and as the very long day went on, ended up eating too many carbs and too many nuts. Because that’s what you do when you finally break a weight loss plateau right? You take the day off and eat what you want. Haha! Anyway, it is what it is. Moving on.

This morning was a very early session on extreme yoga.

  1. Welcome back Angela! I’m glad you had a great Mother’s Day. The photos are beautiful!
    We had a great weekend. Very busy. I was given tickets to the thunder down under for Friday. (I stayed for 10 mins and had to leave. I knew I wouldn’t stay. But what do you do?? It was thought that counts?? Lol)
    Saturday we had Sail past at the yatch club. It was much cooled then usual but still fun.
    Then Sunday came and I had my family over for brunch and Rons for dinner. It was a busy weekend to say the least!

    I feel the need to go away all the time. I take phone free time. Sometimes I just want people to leave me alone. Usually every 28 days! Lol

    Food was not great last weekend. I have to look on the bright side Monday and Tuesdays workouts had tones of energy!

      …….I just googled Thunder Down Under…..LOL!!! And to think at first I thought you were talking about a monster truck ralley or something hahaha.
      Still a fun weekend nonetheless!

  2. I have totally walked away for about the last week. We all just need breaks. Space for our souls to rest. It’s healthy and good and it makes it so much fun to come back! My food has been terrible, but whatever. Back in track and maybe the calorie surplus will help break a plateau, lol! Full body workout yesterday was awesome and I’m so sore today. It feels good. Today I’m really gonna try to get my eating back in track, and next week I’m gonna do a low calorie week. I feel like my body needs a break from constantly digesting. Happy hump day!

    1. YES! And I love that, it IS so fun to come back! And maybe it will! I was down 2 pounds after my eggplant.
      I think that’s a great idea Anne. I feel so much better eating less. I didn’t even realize I was eating too much! You don’t eat too much, but I know what you mean. It’s good to let your stomach rest every now and then.

  3. I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day. I managed to Skype with my son for about an hour in the morning and then went out with my parents and my brother and his family. Then I went shopping with my nieces which was fun.

    I agree we all need to take breaks to refresh and recharge. My eating has been okay but I ate too much chocolate over the weekend, that’s my weakness. I am back on track so far and my challenge for this week is to cut out the late night snacking.
